.OBJECTIVE
UPCOMING is a platform that introduces and drops artworks by historically recognized and established artists, that must have a verified and visible track record, with artwork values ranging between Euro 200K and Euro 5M. The artworks are acquired through a transparent Club Deal procedure and made accessible e visible on the platform for all participants and shareholders. This is aimed at monitoring the value fluctuation and potentially facilitating the transfer and/or acquisition of shares before the final closing.
.INSURANCE, SHIPPING
& STORAGE
After the initial phase of due diligence and acquisition, the artworks are insured for their entire value, transported by specialized company and stored in the Swiss DDA – Bonded Storage. All subsequent international operations of museum lending and/or exhibitions will follow the same procedure, with the purpose of ensuring the constant protection and security of the artwork.
.INVESTMENT/ADVISORY
All Upcoming Drops will allow Club Deal participants to invest a ticket that will range from a minimum and maximum value defined in a tailor-made scheme for each new operation and which will indicate the number of shares assigned for every EUR/USD invested.
Our team will support and oversee all activities related to the investment. This includes providing market studies, conducting due diligence, leading negotiations, and offering post-acquisition services such as administration, control, marketing orientation, and coordination focusing on the development of strategies to create extra value for the asset, incorporating editorial tools and publications in the fields of Contemporary Art and Old Master. This is aimed at promoting resale to private collections, auction houses, and art galleries.
.ADVISORY, MANAGEMENT & SUCCESS FEES
Advisory, management and success fees will be allocated as follows:
Advisory and management fees starting at 3% per annum for each Drop, will be calculated and covered in advance, along with the investment.
A success fees of 20% will be retained by the Advisor on the total gain of each Drop acquired through the investment.
An additional success fees of 35% will be retained by the Advisor on the delta gained on each artwork bought through the investment after doubling the capital invested in each artwork.
.DURATION OF THE INVESTMENT PERIOD
.PAYMENTS
Payments to the participants will be digitally managed. Each participant will obtain a personalized account with a digital Visa/Mastercard card where payments will be made after the final closing.
.TAXES
All participants will be responsible for presenting their personal tax returns in their country of residence.
